It started back in high school when I was cutting all my friends' hair because it was so fun and they were crazy enough to let me do it! I decided to attend cosmetology school to learn more and just loved it from the beginning. Through the years of experience and having a fabulous mentor I was given the opportunity to manage a brand new salon then the desire to have my own salon was becoming clearer! So in 1992 made that dream a reality, and it's been amazing with all that comes with owning a business!

Outside of the salon you can find me running through our local forest preserves connecting with nature and training for my next marathon! I love the precious times spent with my family near and far. I'm an avid bird watcher which brings a sense of calm and connection to nature.

I absolutely love that my career allows me to make people feel good about themselves and the care we get to share with them! As a leader I absolutely love mentoring and sharing knowledge with my staff on a daily basis to help ensure their success ! In creating the style for my guests the Razor is my passion! It has endless possibilities for creating the perfect look!
